Wyld Nites History

Wyld Nites is a haven city that is hidden from most of the world in a valley in the southwestern most area of Arizona that had its foundations laid a millennium and more ago by the Moon Goddess Serenity. Many species that were, and still are, believed to exist only in myths from the Ancient World can rest assure that in the world that sees them as mere myths, Wyld Nites is a place of safety.

Then, before the turn of the 21st century, a female Vampire took the chance to turn Wyld Nites into a haven only for Vampires. Nearly four years past before the resistance against the Vampires won, and with high casualties on both sides. Many that have survived the war left the city to make new lives outside Wyld Nites.

Now, nearly 1,000 years after that war, a familiar face returns to Wyld Nites as it's goddess and protector. Will things be different this time around? Or will a member of a different species seek to turn the haven for all species to only a haven for one?

Wyld Nites
	Bloody Rose The only original bar in Wyld Nites that remains; patroned by many, loved by all. Owned by Sao, it has been remodeled for the younger generation. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Dastardly Deeds A respectful Geisha house styled brothel ran by Naamie, the Dastardly Deeds is the only full brothel allowed in Wyld Nites. The only other brothel in the city is housed in Club Uno which doubles as a club/bar.	0	0
	Club Uno A two in one club. On one side is your typical club for party-goers and on the other is more along the lines of a brothel. Be careful on which side you go on; for you may find yourself in the brothel and not the club. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Tavern de la Noche The rebuilt hotel, Tavern de la Noche has been the main place for those who are passing through to stay. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Dragon's Nest One of the newer restaurants in Wyld Nites, the Dragon's Nest was built in remembrance of the Dragons who fought and died in the Wyld Nites war. A replica of a fully grown Dragon skeleton hangs in the main chamber of the restaurant.	0	0
	Cinema Everyone needs a break from "normalcy". So why not take it watching a movie? Like any other cinema, this has everything from a concession stand to 12 screens. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Mall Added about seventy-five years ago, the mall has been the usual hang out for teens of any species. It is here that they hang out and do some shopping; hang out mostly. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Park For those who do not wish to drive to Silver Lake for a walk. Though it seems closer to a wood or a forest with all of the trees than a city park. Moderator: Sara	0	0

	Shadow Library It's like any other library, but one could find books on just about anything. From a beginner's book on just about any type of magic to one's favorite fiction book. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Animal Shelter Original ran by Sara during the war against Bara, the animal shelter was where all strays were brought and familiars were kept under the watchful eye of Sara. After the war and during the years since, the shelter still remained in operating status. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Remberance Wall The names and species of those who fought and died in the Civil War. Even the Vampyres that separated from the main clan are remembered on the wall. The only names not on this wall are the ones that were in the clan through the whole war. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Silent Slayer office Though the Silent Slayers do not officially have an office, it is where the majority could go and receive assignments. These Slayers are a far cry from what they were when Lena was the goddess of Wyld Nites. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Streets All the streets in Wyld Nites can lead you just about every where in the city.	0	0
Wyld Nites Underground
	Sewers The sewers were built large to deal with the heavy rain fall, when the rain does come, due to the low absorbency of the ground around Wyld Nites. Due to the largeness of the sewers, they are used for car racing (Think "The Fast and the Furious").	0	0
	Red Light District More on the shady side of town instead of being apart of the "underground" of the city, the red light district is where one can find some "easy" company. Just be careful on with whom you do business with.	0	0
	Gambling Circuits Even though there are legalized casinos in Wyld Nites, there are places in the Wyld Nites underground where one can find gambling. Just watch your wallets and pockets.	0	0
	Illegal Fight Areas From illegal dog fights, like the pit bull fighting rings, to underground "Human" fighting rings. Those that run these rings seem to be better at hiding such rings than their 21st century counterparts. But there are some that are caught.	0	0
Outside Wyld Nites
	Silver Star Mountains These mountains are the natural border between Wyld Nites and the outside world. It is here that caves are found, suitable to house those hiding from those that seek them. There are only two known ways in and out; yet there are secret passages well hidden. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Silver Lake Once a dried up lake bed, it is now filled. Ever since the defeat of the old Vampyre clan, the lake had been filled by nearly a month of rain, and has been fed by a few rivers coming down from the mountains. Silver Lake is now the main vacation spot for maybe a one day trip, or a week of camping. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Silver Lake Camp Grounds Camping grounds suited for those coming with tents to all sorts of RVs and campers. The grounds are fully modernized and connected to Silver Lake. Many from Wyld Nites and Rain visit here year round and many more from across the county come here for a week or two. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Lover's Hill Lover's Hill is the main place where young lovers come for some privacy.	0	0
	Vampire Stronghold The Vampire stronghold resides deep within the valley walls. Technically, the stronghold is neither within Wyld Nites nor outside the city. There are access points in the valley walls that lead into the stronghold. There are also certain tunnels that lead deeper into the earth that leads to the Drow city of Ashreda that lies below Wyld Nites.	0	0
	Ashreda The Drow city that lies below Wyld Nites and the Vampire stronghold. Nearly 1,000 years ago, Ashreda gave aid to those who fought against the Vampire forces who sought to gain Wyld Nites for a haven only for Vampires.	0	0
	Immortal Planes This is where the gods and goddesses live and watch over the world. There is a way a mortal can reach the plane, but it takes a skilled witch to perform the transportation. Individual subboards for livings. PM Sao for board. Moderator: Sara	0	0
Rain
	Grocery Store Where everyone can get their groceries at. Rain is the nearest city to Wyld Nites, and the Human population is unaware of the true population of Wyld Nites. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Farmer's Market Usually runs from August to November, the Farmer's Market allows local and nearby farmers to gather and sell their produce and other goods; from homemade jams to all sorts of in-ground foods. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Housing Mainly all two level condos, the housing in Rain does vary to apartments and a few one level houses that can house a family of five comfortably. Moderator: Sara	0	0
	Schools Depending on the age, children and teenagers, and a few adults, attend school in Rain. For the adults, they have the opportunity of going to the adult alternative education that offers night classes. Moderator: Sara	0	0
