NOTE: All listed species, excluding Humans, have a magical aura that's unique to a particular person and of what species he or she belongs to.
[2] Shifters
Shifters are different from Werewolves/Lycans in the fact that Shifters can take the form of just about any living (I'm stressing living because you really don't see extinct (ie: dinosaurs and the like) animals roaming the earth do you?) animal on the earth.
There are two ways of determining the difference between a Shifter and a Lycan; the aura and if one can (especially if one uses the pelt of a wolf) take the form of any living animal.
The Shifter species usually live within a clan like structure based around the type of animal they typically Shift into (wolves, tigers, horses, etc). Example is that a Shifter clan that uses mostly a lion pelt will not have the same order structure as say a clan that uses a wolf pelt; who will have an order structure much like a wolf pack and the Werewolves/Lycans.
In ancient times, it was believed that it was necessary to have the pelt of the animal one chose to shift into. Now, that is widely seen as something that is not necessary; though there are some who bare some sign on their body, whether it be the type of shirt designs to jewelry to tattoos.
Shifter Abilities
[1] Even though Shifters had Human forms, they have excellent hearing.
[2] Although rare, Shifters can Shift between genders
[3] Yes, Shifters can take the form of Dragons, but only for a limited amount of time. Dragons and Shifters are two different species, therefore, if Shifters are to take a Dragon form, they need to learn to know how long their time is before they become stuck in the Dragon form. It's similar to the European medieval depictions of the Western Dragons.
[4] Shifters can take the form of any living known animal. There's no way that any Shifter can take the form of any type of dinosaur due to the mere fact that the dinosaurs died out some 65 million years ago.
[3] Werewolves/Lycans
Unlike the Shifters, Werewolves/Lycans can only take the form of a Werewolf. There are Shifters who choose to take on a wolf pelt, which would make it difficult (especially for a Human) to determine who's the Werewolf and who's the Shifter. Other than the Humans, any of the other species can tell the difference just by studying the aura of the Werewolf(ves) and the Shifter(s).
There are three ways one can be a Werewolf/Lycan:
1. Being bitten, in which it would be a curse for 3 to 5 years after being bitten where the bitten will change only under the full moon, then can change at will after at least 3 years and at most 5 years.
2. Having parents who are Werewolves/Lycans themselves; either bitten or naturally.
3. Parents are not Werewolves/Lycans naturally but still carry the recessive gene and pass it down to their children. Both parents must carry the gene in order for at least having a one in four (1/4) chance of having their children being a Werewolf/Lycan.
Other than those differences, Werewolves/Lycans function like a Shifter clan, but with the hierarchy of the wolf pack; with an Alpha pair, then Beta, all the way down to the Omega. This hierarchy is strictly enforced by the Alpha pair.
[5a] Hunters/Assassins
Hunters and assassins can be from any of the known species listed above. Their true title, whatever it may be, will not be judged if they are asked by Sara if they wish to become a Silent Slayer. Hunters/Assassins are not a "true" species, just a job that is not a Silent Slayer; for the Slayers are a different group all together.
[6a] Examples
[1] Hadrian -- God of Blood and Vampires
[2] Serenity -- Goddess of the moon
[3] Roan Sliverain -- Goddess of the Shape Shifters
[7a] Dragon Flights (Races)
All Dragons, no matter what Flight or what category they fit into, have a hierarchy in which their head horns play a major role. The bigger and longer they are, the older the Dragon is. One Dragon's place does not change from clan to clan. For example, a Junior member in one clan is a Junior to other clan not only in his/her own Flight, but other Flights as well. The only way he/she is a Senior Dragon is by being older than another Dragon.
Chromatics
[1] Red
The best known of all the dragons. Are the most aggressive and battle hungry of the Flights. Prefer fresh meat to any thing else. The fire breath is the hottest in the world; so hot even diamonds can't withstand it.
[2] Green
The smallest of the Dragon Flights, next to the Coppers; and the smallest of the Chromatic flights. The scales are an emerald color and like the Reds, love fresh meat; but are less picky and will scavenge dead carcasses. Their breath is an acidic gas which is extremely painful.
[3] Blue
They are mainly solitary beings and can be pretty grumpy if they are disturbed. Their scales are a brilliant azure and they prefer their meat roasted to a crisp and can go weeks without eating. Bolts of lighting are their breath weapon.
[4] Black
The least trusted, but most aw inspiring of all the Flights. The biggest of the Flights, followed by the Golds. They prefer to eat rotten meat and love to scavenge. The favorite food is rotten fish; and would even eat the flesh of other dragons. They are the Dragon's version of the Marines with their weapon of a highly corrosive acid.
Metallic
[1] Golds
The second largest Dragons and the rarest of all the Flights; and are considered by the other Dragons to be the wisests of all. Very picky eaters, preferring either fresh meat or fish. Their weapon is a powerful jet of flame; though not as strong as the Reds.
[2] Silver
Highly social Dragons, they are well-known to breed with other Flights; which results in sub-races of Dragons. They hate war and violence, but are skilled warriors if it came down to it. They love fish, especially if it's fresh but is happy to scavenge it. Their weapon is frost and snow; launching it as shards of ice or frost that will permanently freeze their target within a solid piece of ice.
[3] Bronze
Like the Reds, the Bronze seek the thrill of battle. But where the Reds lie in brute strength, the Bronze lie on their dexterity and grace while airborne. They prefer fresh meat but will have the occasional fish as well. Like the Blues, they have lighting as their weapon.
[4] Copper
The second smallest of the Flights They share the love of scavenging with the Blacks; but like some fresh meat from time to time. If it's rotten, it's meat that they prefer, not fish. Like the Gold and Red, the Copper Flight have a fire weapon, but it's a liquid, not a gas.
Ancient Dragons
[1] Dark
Not much is known about that Flight. What is known is that they control darkness, move shadows, and darken areas already darken.
[2] Spirit
The Spirit Flight has diamond-like scales and can control spirits. Not unlike the Necros, who control the dead and the spirits of the dead. The Spirit Flight are very social and will befriend many people, especially those who are in different high (as in happy, excited, ect) emotions. In their Human form, the Spirits are a pale complexion that seems to match their scales.
They tend not to like fights or anything that would result in death, for they know that the Necros Flight would surely be around soon. They will only fight if they have too.
[3] Necros
The Necros sport shadowy-black scales and are by far the most dangerous Dragons to ever live. They are like the Drow of the Dragon species. Their Dragon bodies, for Neither Dragons have a Human form just like the other Dragon races, for the most part are a fire ember red; some times that fades into the dying fire black.
If a battle has recently taken place, then they can be seen circling like vultures over head; feeding on the souls of the dead and nearly dead. Their weapon of choice varies between individual Dragon, but for the most part is projecting death into their other wise lively prey to weaken them to the point of death.
[4] Elemental
The Elemental Flight is relatively self-explanatory. Each member of the Flight can control one of the four elements; earth, water, air, and fire. What element the Dragon will control is shown by the scales. A bright red, brighter than the Red Flight, for fire, brown for earth, a deep blue for water and a light blue for air.
When in their Human form, the Elemental will usually try to wear something with the color that pertains to their respected element. This might confuse some who would think the Elementals who wear the red and the two blues belong either to the Red or Blue Flight.
[10a] Ancients
Ancients are the species that have lived since ancient times; around Babylonian time. The species that are counted among the Ancients (the general term for the whole of all the species) are Centaurs, phoenix, Sirens, Nymphs, etc. Being a Mystic/Keeper (the names are interchangeable) can be inherited by the first generation Keepers. But the Keepers' offspring must have a Ancient species member "bonded" to them in order to have the full range of their (offspring) powers.
**Some are not listed due to the fact they do not have a Human form.
[1] Centaurs
Half-horse, half-Human, Centaurs, or Centauri (the "i" has an "e" sound), are those that have long ago taught the average Human not only how to fend for themselves, but also philosophy, the ways of the Heavens, and all things important in those years past. Like horses, Centauri come in a wide spectrum of colors and patterns. Expert archers and sword fighters, both Centauri genders know how to fight and when to talk.
[2] Sirens
According to Greek myth, Sirens were three creatures that had features of a maiden, but from the thighs down had the features of a bird. One played the lyre, one sang, and the other played the flute. They enticed sailors to linger at their island, which in turn leads to their destruction.
Sirens, for there are more than the three mentioned in the Greek myth, are indeed quite attractive and can seduce nearly any man, or woman since Sirens can be of both genders, they wish. They are not in any way perfect, for they are mortal in many aspects like the rest of the world. It is merely their life span that is long.
[3] Nymphs
In a Greek myth, Nymphs are female spirits of nature that may live for many years, are bound to die. The Nymphs could be aggressive in their love as it is proved by the abduction of Hylas (look it up). They had the divine power to change things and turned Hylas into an echo. Another part of the myth is that normal women were turned into Nymphs by the Nymphs themselves.
If this was true in any such way, the Nymphs have changed drastically. For they have changed much of how they lived. Many are still nymphs of the mountains (oreads), oak (Dryads), tree (Hamadryads), water (naiads and hydriads), Ash trees (Melaids), Fen (Heleads), Sheep protectors (Epimeliads).
[6] Chinese Lung (Dragon)
Although the Lung is a Dragon, it is actually older than the Western Dragon that's listed above.
The Imperial Dragon or Lung, is considered to be the primary of four benevolent spiritual animals, the other three being the phoenix, the unicorn and the tortoise. Having unrivaled wisdom and power the dragon symbolized the Emperors of China themselves, who were actually called dragons. Hsi, China's first emperor, was said to have a dragon's tail. Shen Nung, his successor was supposed to have been fathered by a dragon. The Chinese Emperor sat on a dragon throne, rode in a dragon boat and slept in a dragon bed. To distinguish the Chinese imperial dragon from all other dragons, only the Imperial Dragon bore five claws.
The Nine Entities (parts) of A Chinese Dragon:
The dragons are said to be made up of many different types of animals of the Earth:
[1] Head: Camel
[2] Scales: Carp (fish) 117 scales total - 81 infused with yang, the good, and 36 infused with yin the bad. This evens out the dragons temper and personality.
[3] Horns: Giant Stag (deer)
[4] Eyes: hare (rabbit)
[5] Ears: Bull
[6] Neck: Snake
[7] Belly: Clam
[8] Paws: Tigers
[9] Claws: Eagle
According to Chinese history it is believed that the Lung is based on the Indian Nagas.
The Nagas were dragonlike beings, semi-devine snakes with human faces and serpents' tails who occupy palaces (Patala), in the watery region under the earth. They are divided into four classes: heavenly, divine, earthly, and hidden, depending upon their function in guarding the heavenly palace, giving rainfall, draining rivers, or guarding treasures. In Burma, the Nagas combine elements of the dragon, snake, and crocodile, and give rubies to those they favor; in addition, they guarded and protected royalty. Chinese Dragon Kites were even known to be used in warfare.
The Four Types of Dragons:
[1] The Celestial Dragon (Tien-lung)
The Celestial Dragon protects the places of the Gods
[2] The Spiritual Dragon (Shen-Lung)
The Spiritual Dragon controls the wind and the rain
[3] The Earth Dragon (Ti-Lung)
The Earth Dragon controls rivers, and water on the Earth
[4] The Underworld Dragon (Fut's-Lung)
The Underworld Dragon guards precious metals and gems.
[5] There are differences between the Chinese and the Japanese Lung, even though the Japanese Lung was heavily influenced by the Chinese.
The Japanese dragon bears close resemblance with its Chinese counterpart but with the exception that the Japanese dragon has 3 claws while the Chinese dragon has 5. The Japanese dragon is referred to as Ryugu in Japanese mythology.
They are referred to in the Shinto religion which tells of the Dragon King Ryu-Wo. Ryu-Wo was a guardian of the Shinto faith who lived in a palace under the sea. The dragon king is believed to have his home underwater in the Ryuku islands area in Okinawa. Japanese dragons are of various types:
[1] There are the Tatsu dragons that are a representation of spirituality and imperial power.
[2] The Sui-Riu dragons are held responsible for bringing rains into the islands of Japan.
[3] The Han-Riu dragon is the tallest of the dragons measuring up to almost 40 feet in length and can reach the heavens.
[4] The Ri-Riu dragon is most popular for its unusual eye-sight which is believed to be the best.
[5] The Ka-Riu dragon which is the smallest possesses a frightening red color.
[6] The Fuku Riu is the dragon which brings luck to people.
[7] The Hai-riyo dragon is actually a dragon which possesses a bird-like shape and was one to evolve out of Chinese mythology.
Some famous dragons from Japan include:
[1] The Blue Dragon
Protector of the Zodiac
[2] O Goncho
A white dragon that once every fifty years transforms into a golden bird. Its cry brings famine.
[3] Uwibami
More akin to the stereotypical evil Western dragon, Uwibami was a great beast that would snatch men from their horses and eat them.
[4] Yofune-Nushi
Another less than pleasant dragon who craved female human flesh and demanded a maiden sacrifice once a year.
Dragon shrines and temples
Japanese dragons are associated with both Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples, particularly those located near bodies of water where dragons supposedly reside.
Dragon lore is traditionally associated with Buddhist temples, and many of their Great Hall ceilings have dragon paintings. Like Japanese toponyms, temple names frequently involve dragons, for instance, the Rinzai sect has Tenry-ji "Heavenly Dragon Temple", Ryutaku-ji "Dragon Swamp Temple", Ryoan-ji "Dragon Peace Temple".
According to legend (de Visser 1913:180), when the Hoko-ji or Asuka-dera Buddhist temple was dedicated at Nara in 596, "a purple cloud descended from the sky and covered the pagoda as well as the Buddha hall; then the cloud became five-colored and assumed the shape of a dragon or phoenix".
Myths about dragons living in ponds and lakes near Buddhist temples are widespread. De Visser (1913:181-184) lists accounts for Shitenno-ji in Osaka, Gogen Temple in Hakone, Kanagawa, and the shrine on Mount Haku where the Genpei Josuiki records that a Zen priest saw a 9-headed dragon transform into the goddess Kannon.
Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima or Itsukushima Island in Japan's Inland Sea was believed to be the abode of the sea-god Ryujin's daughter. According to the Gukansho; and The Tale of Heike (Heinrich 1997:74-75), the sea-dragon empowered Emperor Antoku to ascend the throne because his father Taira no Kiyomori offered prayers at Itsukushima and declared it his ancestral shrine.
When Antoku drowned himself after being defeated in the 1185 Battle of Dan-no-ura, he lost the imperial Kusanagi sword (which legendarily came from the tail of the Yamata no Orochi dragon) back into the sea. In another version, divers found the sword, which is currently housed at Atsuta Shrine. The great earthquake of 1185 was attributed to vengeful Heike spirits, specifically the dragon powers of Antoku.
The Kinryu-no-Mai "Golden Dragon Dance" is an annual Japanese Dragon dance performed at Senso-ji, a Buddhist temple in Asakusa. The dragon dancers twist and turn within the temple grounds and outside in the streets. According to legend, the Senso; Temple was founded in 628 after two fishermen found a gold statuette of Kannon in the Sumida River, at which time golden dragons purportedly ascended into heaven. The Golden Dragon Dance celebrates the temple founding and allegedly provides good fortune and prosperity.

Ryujin; "dragon god faith" is a form of Shinto religious belief that worships dragons as water kami. It is connected with agricultural rituals, rain prayers, and the success of fisherman.
[6] Pixies (written by Pixel)
<Personality>
Pixies draw a certain energy from the place they are around for any length of time and this alters their personalities. Historically they were carefree beings in an arboreal setting. However even pixies began to develop industry and move together in "Circles" one of which is just within the outskirts of Wyld Nites. These cities of the pixies are far different from their arboreal beginnings, and as such their energy began to change and with it, formerly carefree pixies have become distrusting and scared. Now their Church of Morpheus stands central in their distrustful society, and any who oppose his teachings will anger them deeply.
<Physical description>
Pixies are about a foot and a half (half a meter) tall with a full wingspan of about 3 feet (one meter). These wings vary from pixie to pixie and can be anything from dragonfly-like, to fly-like, to butterfly-like, to birdlike, to batlike etc. These wings are functional, and pixies have been known to be able to fly up to 20 miles per hour. Apart from their small stature, proportionally and in general shape they are humanoid with unusual skin, hair, and eye coloration and pointed ears.
Pixies don't Eat or sleep in a traditional sense. They feed upon latent magical energy around and as noted above this changes their personality if they stay in one place or near certain creatures over a period of time. Instead of sleeping their minds enter "The Reviere" which is a state of magical meditation, even the rare pixies born without magic are subject to the Reviere and it's physically painful entering and exiting this state for them. Pixies spend from midnight to sunrise in the Reviere and have no control over the entering and exiting of it, it simply happens.
Female pixies lay a clutch of 13 eggs once per year on the summer solstice. They may mate at any time during the intervening year to fertilize said eggs, and generally only one egg of a clutch of 13 are fertilized in any given mating.
<Relations>
As a species, pixies prefer to stay hidden in their underground Circles. They rarely make permanent contact with any one species, but if they have to they tend to prefer the company of Mythics, vampires, and Ancients being fellow creatures of magic. They tend to view humans, including witches with an air of distrust and they fear dragons outright.
<Religion>
The pixies view themselves as the chosen children of Morpheus. They follow his teachings devoutly, and heresy is punished swiftly and harshly. Any pixie born without magic (Which they label as Apostate) are outcast as soon as they can fly. Those who are not Apostates believe that through the magic of the land, while the other speices fight amungst themselves and will die off, magic and thus the pixie race is eternal.
<Language>
Pixies speak an ancient dialect shared by nymphs and Sirens, with their own embelishments. Unlike their larger cousins, pixies have a hard time altering the tone of their speach in any audible way, and thus developed a sort of cough at the end of sentences to convey the tone of what was said.
<Names>
Pixies only have one name, family is not that important in their society as it is common practice to both mix the eggs in any given laying and to care for their children communally.
Male: Pitney, Trin, Kellin
Female: Pix, Rellowyn, Alora
[11a] Mystics
Mystics are Humans that have lived since the Babylonian time who have been chosen by any one of the Ancient species to keep them safe. The group's true title is Keeper, but over time, the common person came to believe the Keepers were mystics due to the fact that they can use magic.

[13] Elves
Physique
Slightly shorter than the average human, elves are also noticeably more slender and graceful, averaging between 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 feet and 95 to 135 pounds. Males are slightly more muscular on average, there is little difference in height between the sexes, and neither sex grows facial hair. Their features in general may be described as more angular and defined; including long, pointed ears and wide, almond-shaped eyes. Most elves have fair skin and dark hair, though this is no more true of all elves than it is of humans.
They have a reputation for careful grooming, more so than perhaps any other race. This frequently extends to their clothing, which is luxurious and well-kept, though not to the point of impracticality. Elves do not sleep as most other creatures do, instead falling into a four-hour restful trance. Consequently, elves are unaffected by sleep-inducing spells and effects, and are able to remain active far longer than other races. Elves also do not age as other creatures; their physical appearances remain constant from achieving physical maturity to death.
6 Subraces of Elves {Found here: www.users.uswest.net/~bmarc/Elvsub.htm
Aquatic Elves:
Also called sea elves, these ocean-dwellers patrol the deeps, holding court beneath the waves. Aquatic elves have gill slits much like fish, and can survive out of the water for a short time by breathing. Their skin is typically silver-green, and their hair is also green or bluish green. These elves play an important part in the underwater ecology, keeping the waters safe for inhabitants. They hate sharks intensely and organize hunts against this menace. Sea elves commonly travel with elven ships, defending those on board from attacks beneath the waves. Aquatic elves are feared by pirates and those who would prey on elven craft.
Aquatic elf society consists mainly of those sea elves who dwell within a five-mile area. There is a titular king or queen to whom they pay homage, but has no real power over daily life. Sea elves live as they please, coming together under a ruler only in times of underwater emergency or great trouble for the world in general. The lords and ladies of the ocean cities escort visitors and conduct trade, while the rest of the population are artists, hunters and farmers. These elves have cities of living coral, supplemented with glittering crystal domes.
Dark Elves (Drow):
The Underdark is the home of these evil cousins of the surface elves. The drow are reputedly as wide-spread as the other subraces of elves, perhaps even more so. No one knows exactly how far the underground holdings of the dark elves extend. They are also well known for having a certain grasp on interdimensional magic, for they use it to travel long distances. They hate the light, and have researched ways to travel while avoiding the sun, which is an anathema to them. Drow are typically shorter than other elves. They all have white hair, glowing red eyes and black skin. In all other respects, save their height and coloring, they resemble their above-ground cousins.
Drow craftsmenship is truly a marvel to behold, wrought with strange and intricate designs. Their works are unstable however, and will disintegrate over time when away from the radiation of the Underdark.
Drow society is matriarchal, with the female drow holding power. Male drow are intrusted with the relatively unimportant jobs of swordplay and some sorcery. The females on the other hand, command the important positions in drow society. They are priestesses of the dark goddess Lolth, Demon Queen of Spiders.
The drow are rigidly class-structured and divided. A drow can advance in her caste, but cannot advance beyond it. When one seeks advancement, it is usually done through death.
Grey Elves:
The most noble and reclusive of the gentle race are the grey elves. They see themselves as the protectors of good in the world, but will stir from their mountains and meadows only when faced with a great evil. Grey elves act much like human knights, supercilious and condscending, full of their own importance. They think nothing about speaking their own minds, and are often haughty, disdaining contact with most others, including all other elves save grey elves.
When arming for battle, they don shimmering suits of elven-made plate or chainmail, and protect their heads with distinctive winged helms. Mounted warriors ride gryphons or hippogriffs into battle, swooping down on the enemy with dreadful perfection.
Taller and more slender than other elves, grey elves typically have silver hair and amber eyes, some rarer elves have golden hair and violet eyes and are often known as 'faerie', and are probably those who made first-contact with humans.
Grey elves disguise the entrances to their mountains and meadows with powerful magic, ensuring that only elves, or those familiar with the elven dweomer, are allowed access to their retreats.
High Elves:
The most commonly seen of all elves, the high elves are also the most open and friendly. They are also the most adventurous of elves, and have no conpunction about exploring the world outside their homelands.
At first, high elves may seem aloof and arrogant, but with little effort, a glimmer of true self can be learned. High elves know the value of friendship and alliance with other good races of the world. Trust is hard-earned however, thus, although they serve the cause of good, one can never be sure what the reception from them will be.
High elves are very pale. Their skin does not tan and is the color of new cream. Their hair and eyes fall into two main categories. Those with blond hair and blue eyes, and another equally numerous variation with dark hair, ranging from brown to sheerest black, and intense green eyes.
High elves do not place a great deal of value on society, preferring instead to live as they wish, not as someone tells them to. They live in a constant relationship with nature, never taking more than they need, and giving back ever more.
Sylvan Elves:
Although wood elves are descended from the same stock as the other elves, they are far more primitive than their kin. Sylvan elves, by their very nature, seem more prone to violence than their civilized cousins. Their muscles are larger, their complexions more florid. They have yellow to coppery-red hair, which contrasts with their lightly tanned skin. Their eyes are generally light brown, although bright green is not uncommon.
Wood Elves do not care about the proceedings in the outer world; only when such acts imapact their realm do the wood elves take interest. Even then, that interest is only in removing the nuisance and in returning to the wildlands as quickly as possible. Only other elves can break their solitude without suffering potential death.
Half Elves:
Although not properly elves, half-elves are included here because they do possess elven ancestry. There are rare exceptions, but most half-elves are also predominantly half human. Elven genes cannot typically cross with anything other that human genes. Most half-elves are of high elf descent, though again, there are always exceptions.
Half-elves are not readily accepted into either elf or human communities. They often become introverted, sullen, and embittered. Largely, it is a matter of the half-elf in question and the society with which he or she deals. They are never accepted into grey elf society, for half elves are a reminder of all that the grey elves wish to eliminate.
Since they are human and elven both in demeanor, they are easily recognizable as such. They are taller and heavier than the average elf, though their hair and eyes often reflect those of the human parent. In all cases they will still have the pointed ears and angular features of the elven parents.
[14] Goblins
Species Name: Goblins
Natural Age: 50, though magically active ones can live much longer.
Longest Known Age: King Gob is said to be at least 1000 years old. His actual age is unknown.
Natural Appearance: Goblins are about 3 feet tall not including ears. Their eyes are large and purely black with no iris. Their ears are between six and 10 inches long and pointed, their noses are also proportionally large and very long to a point up to 6 inches. Their teeth are sharp and triangular giving them a unique smile. Their skin is distinctively green and ranges from a mottled brown-green to a bright almost neon-green. Goblin feet and hands are also proportionally big, almost the size of a full-sized human. Some goblins have warty skin and some do not.
Social Structure: Goblins live in a strict total monarchy. King Gob rules their caves and tunnels with an iron fist. He is a fat goblin unusually large, almost 4 ft tall. He's a glutton and is easily amused. That said, a lot of goblin resources go to please him. Considering how clever goblins are and how much they value knowledge and experimentation including that of blending magic and technology if king Gob ever were dethroned and one of his less gluttonus heirs rose to the throne then goblins may become a real threat to Wyld Nites.
Social Taboos: It is forbidden to ever question the monarchy under penalty of banishment. That said, it's not uncommon for most Haven cities to have small banished-goblin communities of agitators and dreamers who question the leadership of King Gob who have no such taboo.
Social Customs: Goblins value cleverness over anything else. They love tinkering and experimenting with anything and everything magical, technological, or otherwise. It's considered polite for goblins to be flirty with all members of the opposite sex. This grates on the nerves of some of the more prudish species.
Social Religion: Goblins belive that the god Thag had to make the goblins from the very earth and the bones of dead pixies. Then King Gob killed Thag and took the throne. This is all false and King Gob made it all up a thousand years ago.
Relations: The monarchy is on friendly terms with the Drow elves and vampires... and not many else. Most species find the monarchy to be rigid and unyielding and downright dangerous. That said, banished goblins are seen as an asset to their cities and are skilled traders and craftsmen.
