Hi,
So in the last week, there have been multiple reports of a mountain lion running around in the county where my old mare lives. It's been preying on family pets and livestock, and hunting mostly at night.
What steps can we take to keep our kids safe? They are out in the pasture from 7am until 8 or 9pm, then we tuck them in the barn for the night. Will the cat try to get in the barn? I think they are safe in there, as there is much easier prey in the area...sheep and cattle outside all the time.
