"Caught some Shifter attacking her," Drake answered. "Swear to Serenity. Not sure what it was about though." He glared back at the Vampire, daring him to do something. He'd like to see the Vampire try something, especially to Sara's familiar.

"Right," the human said.
The paramedics carried Syntyche down to the ambulance in a hurry, going through procedures and constantly checking her vitals. The vampire had scooped up Syntyche purse and found her ID and health card.

Drake followed them out and down to the rig.

The paramedics loaded Syntyche into the back of the ambulance and tapped on the little glass window to let the driver know it was ok to start driving. The doors slammed shut behind Drake and the quick speeding drive to the hospital was over in less than 10 minutes.
Syntyche was then rushed to the emergency room where a doctor examined her. Drake was asked to sit and wait just outside the emergency room by a pretty nurse named Jane. About 20 minutes after that the doctor came striding out.
"Hello there, I am Dr. Simms," he said, his long black silvering hair pulled back into a pony tail. "I would like to ask you a few questions pertaining to the injuries sustained by Syntyche."

Drake held on during the quick ride to the hospital while trying not to get in the way.
Drake stood in the waiting room while Syntyche was being taking care off in the hospital. He did nothing but prevent a crime. "Sure, what about?" He crossed his arms.

"Well first, we need to know who it was who injured her," Dr. Simms eyed Drake's knuckles. "I can see from your hands that it was not you. The police have already been called in and they will be here soon to interview you. Syntyche has been put on a painkiller which will keep her down until the morning."

"I don't know his name, but he was a Shifter," Drake answered. "I didn't get a chance to learn from her, Syntyche is it, before she went unconscious and the EMTs arrived."

The Doctor nodded thoughtfully to this information. "Well lets hope this shifter gets caught."
Meanwhile Syntyche was beginning to heal. The nurse that was with her was also a witch and using her magic to make the girl well. Although she was being healed Syntyche was still sedated, which was for the best. She had been through enough for one night.

"I'm sure he will be," Drake said. "I plan on informing the Silent Slayers. Is there anything else I'm needed for?"

The Doctor shook his head. "No. You may be contacted by the police later but for now you may leave."
The Doctor have a little bow of his head and excused himself. He would be back to check on Syntyche in a few hours, for now she was in the nurses care.

Drake accepted the answer and turned to leave the hospital to contact all the Slayers.
