"That would be wonderful." Natayla said, setting her now empty bottle on the the counter. "I can stay a little after sunrise, that should give me enough time to 'interview' almost everyone."
Natayla was very special for a halfblood in that she could withstand direct sunlight for quite some time. She had discovered this one day when she was young and couldn't sleep. She lifted the lid of her coffin and threw the curtain open. Her room filled with sunlight and Natayla's skin didn't blister, burn, or turn to ash. After some experimenting Natayla discovered that 6 to 8 hours was her limit, less if she was tired, more if there was adequate cloud cover.
"Shall we?" Natayla smiled, gesturing to the door.

Naamie nodded and headed for the door, stopping only to grab her parasol where she had sat it since she had came in before the sun fully sat, and continued on towards the door. Even though she was a half breed Vampire, Naamie did have some aversion to sunlight. When Naamie was younger, she didn't need the parasol. She didn't even remember when or why she first picked one up, but she's had one for as long as she could remember.

Natayla walked a few steps behind Naamie, as was customary. Natayla had picked up that Naamie was quite older than herself, and therefore held higher rank. Even though Natayla's family detached from their coven when she was young, the traditions and rules were still ground in her.
"So have there been any brawls in your brothel?" Natayla asked. She hadn't heard of any rough housing going on at Dastardly Deeds, but she just wanted to check.

The sun had fully sat, meaning that Naamie kept her parasol closed. She held it lightly in her hand as they walked the streets to Dastardly Deeds. Naamie was never apart of a true coven, just raised by her mother, then her father's Siren clan. So she never experienced the full extend of being a Vampire.
"No. There have been minor fights, but no major brawls. I accept the fights as a natural part of life and living in any sort of building."

Natayla nodded her head in understanding. So it seemed the most she would need to do was make appearance and mood enhancing charms and potions. The mood enhancers simply made one less easier to irritate.
"I see." she said as they neared the brothel. "Are there any potions you would like for personal use?"

"I would have to think on that. I can focus a bit more on myself once my employees are taken care of."
Even though Naamie was a Siren with Vampire blood, or was it Vampire with Siren blood?, she was attractive enough without any sort of potions or charms for the time being. Naamie was with other skills to acquire that what she wanted.

"Alrighty," Natayla nodded.
She held the door to Dastardly Deeds open for Naamie. She stood by the door way with her hands clasped behind her back, patiently waiting to be invited in. That was another trait Natayla had inherited from her father. Natayla couldn't enter someone's home without being formally invited in, and since Naamie did live in Dastardly Deeds it Natayla considered this business Naamie's home.
"Who shall I start with?" she asked.

Naamie nodded her thanks to Natayla as she walked through the open door.
"Come on in."
Naamie knew about some Vampires who were unable to enter one's home until invited in. Naamie didn't share that trait, though she did give the courtesy to wait to be invited into another's home.
"We can start with Terri. She's shy when it comes to having men as her patrons. I think she had some sort of traumatic event with a trusted male in her past. Women she has no problem with."

"Hmm.. well if she did have a traumatic experience with a trusted male in her past the only thing I could do is erase that memory, but that would cause her mind to unwind. But maybe boosting her confidence and persuasive abilities would do the trick!" Natayla said, more thinking out loud than anything else.
As Natayla and Naamie walked they came upon Terri's room. Natayla gave the door a quick rap and waited for the woman to answer. When the door opened the woman pocked her head out, looking a tad irritated.
"Good night Terri," Natayla smiled brightly. "I'm sorry if I woke you but I've made an arrangement with Naamie and will be providing potions and charms for you and all of Naamie's other employees. May I come in?"

Once Terri saw Naamie standing with another woman, and thankfully not a John, she opened the door a bit more and stood in the opening. She listened to the unknown woman then looked to Naamie with a questioning look.
"This is Natayla," Naamie answered. "And it's true that we've made an arrangement."
"Of course you can come in." Terri stepped aside and opened the door at the same time to allow Naamie and Natayla in the room.

"Thank you," Natayla nodded.
Once inside Natayla got right down to business, not wanting to waste any time.
"Now, I'll need a bit of information from you. Age, weight, race, what you like and don't like, what you enjoy, what makes you uncomfortable, and if there's anything about your appearance that you don't like."

"Well..." Terri sat down on her bed, folding her hands in her lap. "I can give you a guesstimate on my age. I was eight when I was," Terri coughed to clear her throat and to attempt to give herself courage to speak of the event. "molested. I think I forgot nearly everything about myself."
"Terri came to me a few years ago," Naamie chimed in. "My best guess at her age is mid to late twenties."
Terri nodded, as if her subconscious was agreeing with Naamie. "Average weight's 'bout 124 pounds. Race, what's that? There's not much I do or don't like, or enjoy. What makes me uncomfortable is dealing with male patrons more than woman. For my appearance..." Terri tapered off, wondering about that. "I wanna say my figure."
"Terri barely even knew her own name when I found her," Naamie said in the attempt to give Natayla some history. "From what I got of her magical aura, all species have different auras that vary between people, she's from one of the Ancient species; but I don't know which one."

Natayla had taken a seat on the bed next to Terri and was writing the information down quickly in a little note book. She nodded as the information was passed to her, pausing to put a sympathetic hand on Terri's shoulder when she mentioned being molested.
"May I have you hand?" Natayla asked, although she didn't wait. Natayla brought Terri's right hand to her lips and nipped the skin of the woman's finger with her teeth and sampled her blood. It was painless for Terri, and the tiny wound closed almost instantly. "I have all the information I need. It was very nice meeting you Terri."

Terri looked to Naamie to explain what just happened when Natayla bit into her hand.
"Natayla's half Vampire."

Nodding Natayla excused herself. She repeated this process several times and within the hour her notebook was full of notes. Natayla found most of the girls to be quite civil, but there were some who did rub her the wrong way. But none of that mattered, except for the questioning she wouldn't have prolonged interaction with them.
As Natayla exited another room she thought back to a previous conversation with Naamie. "You do have male employees, correct?"
Natayla had yet to question a man.
