Sara had seen how the Silent Slayers changed from the time she knew them to now and she hated it. Sara did not know who became the city's deity after Wyld, for it was clear to Sara that the city was long in gaining a new one, and contributed the change, and the lack thereof, of the Slayers.
And since there was no one in charge of the Slayers, Sara now found herself doing paper work for the Slayers. Sara knew Silent Slayers started off as a sort of bounty hunter agency, tracking down and eliminating threats to countries and innocents. And that they were a company of assassins and mercenaries basically, just they only worked for the law, never the criminals.
Now Sara did not know what the Silent Slayer agency was.

((I'm going to assume this is open and jump in! ^__^))
Riku sighed, running a hand through his long silver hair as he stared down at the paper. He recalled the state Meian had left him in when his so-called familiar took off. The stupid bird left him, with only an address and a name to go by. Meian had told him to go see a place called the Silent Slayers. With his training complete, Riku didn't have much to do during the day so his ever-so thoughtful raven decided to make one for him.
"Who knows? Maybe you'll end up catching that vampire?"
Of course that instantly got his attention as he entered the building, looking around silently. He sighed, not really sure what to make of the place but decided to go find someone to talk to. He came across a woman doing paperwork and was about to ask something when he felt the magic that came off of this human. Well...it definitely wasn't a human being, that's for sure. He hadn't met anyone like her since he received his own magical abilities. "Uh...this is the Silent Slayers office, right?" He asked and then mentally slapped himself. He was never so hesitant around anyone but something about this woman put him on edge.

Sara sensed a magic aura enter the building, but contributed it to someone who got this building confused with another, or they were lost, so Sara ignored it. It wasn't until she heard a voice did she look up to see someone standing there. She put the pen down and looked at him.
"It is. What can I help you with?"
Sara didn't know what to make of this one just yet.

Riku felt his nervousness recede but only a bit. He couldn't help but twitch toward his weapons but something held him back. "I was told this is a group of assassins. I was looking to join up," he explained. "I have sufficient training and everything," he added in a quicker tone, making sure he would be considered. It helped that he was trained for 9 years by a raven that worked for a god. That's when he realized who this person must be and his eyes widened only a fraction. "You...wouldn't happen to be Lady Sara, would you? The protector of Wyld Nites?" He asked, a little uncertain but at the same time, he knew exactly who it was.

"I am," Sara answered. She stood from the chair. "Welcome to Wyld Nites, and you already know who I am. Do I have the pleasure of knowing your name?" Sara watched the Human, looking for any thing that might dismiss him from entering the ranks of Silent Slayers. She had not heard of any Humans being a Slayer, then again, Sara was more concerned about dealing with Bara then those who made up the Slayers and what species they belonged to.

Riku felt a bit more relaxed as he answered. "Riku. Riku Yuumei. I was born in Japan but I've been living here for nine years. My familiar suggested that since I was completed my assassin training, I could...put it to good use by joining the Silent Slayers." He paused only for a moment. "I can understand if I'm not welcome but I'd like to try either way," he added, knowing that joining this group was probably the best course of action. The Silent Slayers hunted like crazy and he figured that he would eventually come across that vampire if he joined.

"You're welcome to join the Slayers, Riku," Sara said. "And who's your familiar? I would like to meet him. Or her. Now, you do know what the Silent Slayers are?" Sara did not want Riku to blindly join the Slayers without knowing what he's getting himself into.

Riku heard the question and at least five answered appeared in his mind. He decided to go with the one that sounded the best. "I know it's a group that hunts but for the right reasons...even though each person believes what they do is right. I've been watching this group for a bit and know enough to believe in their cause." Then he remembered her other question. "And my familiar is a raven named Meian. He was given to me by a god. I apologize, Lady Sara, but I don't know his name," he said, bowing his head out of respect.

Sara nodded, accepting Sora's answer pertaining to the Slayers. "Don't worry about knowing his name. There are still things even I do not know." Sara was not sure how Lena accepted new recruits into the Slayers, but this was her city now and she could make it her own. Sara reached for a steak type knife then reached for the one thing that looked really ancient in the office and appeared to be covered in some dark red substance.
"Cut your palm and place it on this," Sara instructed.

Riku raised a thin eyebrow but didn't question. He held up the knife, cutting a slim line across his palm without hesitating. He did, however, silently question what this...object might do to him. He gently put his palm on the ancient piece, finger tips first and then his whole hand. "What is this supposed to signify?" He asked, a little unsure of the whole process.

"That you'd shed blood for Wyld Nites in peace time, and will possibly do the same if in war time," Sara made up.

Riku gave a questioning look but disregarded her statement. It did make sense in a way and he was willing to defend the city. He pulled his hand away, closing his hand tight to slow the bleeding. "Anything else?" He asked. "No papers? That's impressive," he commented, letting it slip more than anything.

Sara dug out a roster that she had found that had all the names of the Slayers and what species they belonged to. She handed that and a pen to Sora. "Add your name and species to the list. And no, no "official" papers."

Riku took the pen, signing his name with surprisingly fluent style. "Thank god for that," he mumbled as he wrote down his name. He set down the pen when he felt the presence of his familiar. He heard the door open and a raven flew into the room, landing on Riku's shoulder. "Meian, where were you?" Riku asked, a little concerned.
The bird adjusted his position. "Just out for a little flight," he answered. He looked at Sara, dipping his head. "My Lady," he said with respect.

"I don't see the need for such since the city's not known outside of the species believed to be not more than myth and Humans who seek a haven." Sara took the paper when Sora finished and a raven flew in and landed on his shoulder. She returned the nod to Meian.
"Meian." Sara waited for Sora to tell the raven what had just recently transpired.
