It's Saturday, and that means it's a day off work for Pixel and her little robot friend Rover. Pixel decided, as she often does, to take rover out exploring, and so she took him out near the Remembrance Wall. Idly she sat on the wall itself breathing in the Mana of the space around it and pondering life in general, pausing to watch the antics of the robot below her with a giggle as he'd try to climb columns and couldn't get a good grip or would scare the flesh-and-blood dogs.

Sara had come to the wall, like she did every week, and took in every name that was etched onto the marble. She should have memorized them all by now, but there were too many for even her to remember. Sara could hardly believe that the war had occurred nearly seven hundred years ago. It was that last battle against Bara that Sara had lost a good friend and familiar; Raven. That was probably the main reason the goddess had come to the wall. She heard something, her Shifter hearing was higher than a Human's, and looked around and saw a robotic spider. Sara had half a mind to go crush it since she knew that the spider represented the Drow goddess Lloth.

Pixel fluttered down off her perch to where Rover was and affectionately rubbed his "Head" rather where his optic sensors are. "Who's a good boy? Huh?" to which Rover barked happily in reply, she found a pebble and threw it off "Fetch!" and rover ran off to fetch the little rock. Giggling she leaned back against the wall when she noticed the taste of the Mana had changed. She looked around and spotted Sara and eyed her slightly.

Sara saw a thing, creature, come into view and wondered what sort of species the one before her was? Sara approached the robot and the creature, trying to run through all the species she knew and came up empty. When she reached the two, Sara knelt down.
"Greetings and welcome to Wyld Nites," she said. "I'm Sara, goddess of Wyld Nites."

Pixel looked up at her wide eyed "Erm, I'm pixel. And I can kinda tell you wern't joking about that." she rubbed Rover's head, and rover made sniffy noises that didn't really mean anything at Sara. "I've been in town for a month or so."

"I see. Have you found everything yet?" It was sort of a code for Sara. It opened the conversation for questions that Pixel might have. Sara looked at the robot, which seemed to have a dog personality with Pixel.

Pixel stroked her chin "I don't think I have, but the city does have lots of interesting tastes." Rover seems to have lost interest in Sara and moved off to annoy a stray dog. Pixel watched the exchange with a slight chuckle "Rover is silly like that sometimes."

"The city's a haven for all sorts of species that are considered myths by the majority of the Human population. Though you will find that there are some Humans who live here in Wyld Nites and are treated just like everyone else," Sara explained. She looked at Rover, who seemed to be annoying a stray dog. She knew that dog should be taken to the shelter. Maybe later, she'd take care of it. "He reminds me of a dog more than a spider."

"Yeah, I made him that way. I'm still not sure if he's actually learning from these experiences or not, but he seems to be having fun." she fluttered around "So, I take it you've never seen a pixie before?" She asked of the woman her wings picking up the wind and taking a slight hovering flight.

"No, I haven't. You're the first in all the years I've lived and been a goddess. Even I believed that pixies were myths." Sara watched Pixel hover before her and looked at the Pixie. "And I know all of the species that can be known."

Pixel put her hands on her hips "Not suprising, as far as I understand it, Pixies have been hidden from all races for over two thousand years... I'd show you the circle, but I'm an outcast."

"You are? Why's that?" Sara had considered herself an outcast from her own family until she learned that she and her siblings were considered to be "freaks" because they could use magic. Sara looked to the wall and wondered what each of those remembered on the wall would say in this situation.

Pixel sighed a moment and looked off in the distance and in a mocking voice said "Pixies are the chosen children of Morpheus. We are One with the mana." she then showed Sara the backs of her hands, with the curling symbol branded onto them "Except for those who are born without the ability to weave the Mana. We are Apostates. Outcast from the Seelie Court and our Circles to wander the earth."

Sara looked at the symbol on Pixel's hands and studied them. "Morpheus? I've heard of many deities, but not that one. Then again, I'm only familiar with those of the Wyld Nites pantheon." Mana, Sara had been told countless years ago, was a special type of magic that seemed to be unique to a few species.

Pixel raised an eyebrow "I'm not a cleric, but as I understand it Morpheus made the Mana that the pixies were formed out of and we feed on. All around is Mana, and even the outcasts like me derive all our sustainable from it." she giggled "Listen to me lecturing a goddess... By the way, your Mana tastes very... sad. And it's strong, very strong."
